JME portable Betatron X-ray systems are a range of compact circular electron accelerators producing a high energy directional X-ray beam. The JME Betatron systems are easy to assemble, operate, and maintain. They contain no moving parts or cooling liquids, so maintenance required on the systems is minimal. They can produce radiographs of very high contrast, sensitivity, and resolution allowing operators to meet the tightest inspection standard. A wide variety of applications within many sectors of the NDT industry use JME's Betatron systems. These systems have been designed to function with both the conventional wired control panel and the innovative new wireless handset. Coupled with a JME Radio Repeater the user can now operate the system from a range of up to 1,7KM. Proven and tested with the JME 2.5meV (1kW) Betatron and COMET EVO/ECO range to provide over 1.5 hours of X-Ray time (900W). This will also power a 6/7.5MJ Betatron for more than a full duty cycle (45 minutes). The PBU removes the need for flammable liquids on site for use with generators, reduces overall deployment weight, improves access to hard to reach and hazardous locations, while removing the need for maintenance and risk of unplanned break downs. The outputs are 2.5, 6, and 7.5 MeV and the  energy output on all systems is variable from 2 MeV through to the maximum energy.
