JME Portable X-Ray Betatron Systems.

JME portable Betatron X-ray systems are a range of compact circular electron accelerators producing a high energy directional X-ray beam. The JME Betatron systems are easy to assemble, operate, and maintain. They contain no moving parts or cooling liquids, so maintenance required on the systems is minimal. They can produce radiographs of very high contrast, sensitivity, and resolution allowing operators to meet the tightest inspection standard.

A wide variety of applications within many sectors of the NDT industry use JME's Betatron systems. Examples include but are not limited to inspecting large forgings, castings, valves, beams, ships hulls, pressure vessels, engine blocks, thick welds, composites, reinforced concrete buildings, bridges, and cargo/security scanning solutions.

JME Portable X-Ray Betatron Models

QSA Global, Inc. offers multiple systems within the Betatron range, each with a different maximum energy. The outputs are 2.5, 6, and 7.5 MeV and the energy output on all systems is variable from 2 MeV through to the maximum energy. Adjustments can be made in 0.1 MeV increments.
