For over 30 years, QSA Global has supplied Californium-252 and Cobalt-60 sealed source encapsulations used to detect the presence of nitrogen chemical compounds found in the majority of explosives.

Security imaging and inspection devices, such as portal and gate monitors, require technically-precise radiation sources for accurate gamma detection of explosive devices. QSA can meet any existing security device encapsulation specification, including custom fabrication of new sealed source designs based on client requirements.

Our sealed sources are a cost-effective alternative to OEMs, meeting or exceeding all international regulatory requirements for radiation source encapsulations.
